Gabby Lane

Gabby is a Swain County native, graduating from Swain County High School before earning her Honors B.S. in human performance and exercise science from the University of Alabama. She earned her doctorate of physical therapy from East Carolina University before returning to the mountains of WNC to treat the population most near and dear to her heart. 

Gabby's experience in orthopedics and pediatrics have equipped her for treating patients across the lifespan with a wide variety of diagnoses. She is passionate about interprofessional care, taking courses and participating in several interprofessional events while pursuing her doctoral degree. Her favorite part of physical therapy is helping patients achieve their goals- no matter how big or small. 

Outside of the clinic, Gabby enjoys running and spending time with her favorite mutt- Scout. She has currently ran 3 half marathons and is building her race bucket list- so if you have any suggestions she would love to hear them!
